Miss Mauritius Laetitia Darche
Miss Mauritius Laetitia Darche lost all her luggage on arriving at Brazil. Laetitia Darche had 12-hour flight to UK, waited in UK for 15 hours, then again 15 hour-flight to Brazil. Poor the girl. I hope she will get back her luggage soon.
Miss USA Alyssa Campanella
Miss USA’s flight had to do an emergency landing in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she was stranded for a couple hours. Luckily everything turned out fine and Alyssa is now in Brazil.
Miss Mexico Karin Ontiveros
Mexico’s Karin Ontiveros crowned her succesor on Saturday, who will compete in Miss Universe 2012. After the pageant she rushed to the airport to catch her flight.
Miss Canada Chelsae Durocher Durocher
Miss Canada, Chelsae Durocher will be one of the last contestants to arrive. Her father remarried last Saturday and she wouldn’t miss this wedding for the world.
Miss Croatia Natalija Prica
After decades of using the same style of sash for the pageant, this year it has been changed to digitally printed lettering.
